Historic Steam Engines, Agricultural, Classic Cars, Bikes & Trucks

Over 20 full sized steam engines! Steam fans will be thrilled with the authentic results and attention to detail our full-size and miniature engine owners uphold.

Hundreds of vintage and classic vehicles will be gleaming at Marsworth too, including some very impressive cars, tractors, commercials and military vehicles. Stunning exhibits aside, there will also be an abundance of activities to keep all entertained and we’ve got more than enough to keep the young and not-so-young happy! For the little ones and the young at heart the children’s vintage fairground is always a success, steam engine rides will be running throughout the day too and as well as the infamous Marsworth Steam Tug Of War, some enabling audience participation. Our live band, Pickled Tink, are back by popular request.

No belly should go unfed with a range of gourmet treats to suit snackers and larger appetites alike. The Beer and Tea tents will be on hand with a selection of Local Real Ales and hefty slabs of cake, all accompanied by live music. Stalls will be here, there and everywhere too!

While we know you’ll be having a blast, proceeds from the day help very worthy causes and go towards supporting local charities and community projects in need of a helping hand. In the twenty seven years our Steam and Classic Vehicle Rally has been running an impressive amount of money has been raised and it would make our day if this year the total exceeded last year’s biggest charity bounty, can we beat it? With your help we can!

This years Rally promises to be the biggest to date, along with our regulars we have many new trade stalls, new rides, attractions, as well as additional arena and sideshow entertainment. Full & Minature Steam Exhibits

Exhibits that have not pre-booked will be charged the full public admission fee on the day.

Please Note: Your exhibit must be insured against third party and public liability, including use on rally fields. You will be required to produce documentary evidence that such cover is in force before gaining entry to the rally. If you have any queries regarding this matter, please contact the Rally Safety Officer who will be happy to answer any questions regarding safety policy and insurance requirements. Entrants will be expected to have their exhibits in position by no later than 10.30am on the day. For safety reasons we request entrants not to leave the show site until 4:30pm without the permission of the event organisers.

Gates are open to the public at 11am, we close at 5pm.

No pre booking necessary – tickets are available on the gate.

YES – card payments can be taken at the gates, beer tent and most stalls. We also accept cash.

Unfortunately, as we are on open farmland there are no cash facilities onsite. There is a local shop in the next village where cash back facility is available.

Visitors car parking is available FREE on site. Car park opens at approximately 10.30am.
Please drive responsibly and follow the marshals instructions at all times.

Disabled parking is available to those holding a blue badge. Please show your badge to a marshal at the gate and they will happily direct you to the blue badge parking area.

If any disabled visitor needs advance information or assistance please email us and we’ll endeavour to help or advise.

Generally, driving standards are exemplary, but a small minority of entrants do need a gentle reminder, especially when leaving the site – drivers judged to have driven recklessly will be banned from participating in future events.
Without your cooperation the future of the show could be under threat.

Many pushchair and wheelchair users attend our rally and return year on year!

Wheelchair/mobility scoter users are reminded that the Rally takes place on open farmland – the field is relatively level however being a working farm the ground is uneven and subject to weather conditions may be difficult in places.

There are plenty of toilets on site, including disabled toilets. We also have drinking water outlets on site.

Numerous local catering units on site provide a wide choice of Hot & Cold Snacks, Ice Cream and Drinks. We also have a Tea Tent providing teas, coffees as well as a selection of homemade cakes and sweet treats. The Marsworth Steam Rally Beer Tent will be back, hosting a selection of local real Ale & lager from Tring Brewery just down the road!

BBQs are NOT permitted on the Rally Site at any time. This rule applies equally to full barbeques and disposable foil trays. Your cooperation is much appreciated.

Dogs are welcome as long as they are kept on a lead and remain under control at all times. Owners are also responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.

ALL profit made from the Rally is donated to charity and local community projects

All proceeds go to local fundraising and charities

Last year we raised a fantastic £34,000 for local fundraising and charities. In the twenty years we’ve been doing the event we have raised an impressive amount of money for local charities and worthy causes. The success of our fund raising is a joint effort of all those concerned, including exhibitors, sponsors, helpers and the paying public – on behalf of all those that have benefited from these donations we thank you most sincerely.
